The new area of the park is called Wildwood Grove and is a whimsical fairytale land filled with attractions for the entire family to enjoy, including several new exciting rides! 1. What to Expect

The Wildwood Grove expansion at Dollywood is a new land of discovery and adventure that is due to open this spring! As the largest expansion in park history, this new section of the park combines the natural beauty of the Smoky Mountains with an imaginary land full of surprises! As you enter into Wildwood Grove, you will be welcomed by characters such as Benjamin Bear, Franklin Frog and the Flit & Flutter fairies. You will immediately notice the Wildwood Tree, Wildwood Grove’s centerpiece that is adorned with a huge collection of butterflies as they dance colorfully in the breeze! The new area also features Wildwood Creek, where you can cool off on a hot summer day, as well as the Hidden Hollow Play area for kids.

2. New Rides in Wildwood Grove

You will be thrilled to know that the Wildwood Grove expansion includes several new rides to experience at Dollywood! The premier ride is the Dragon Flier, a suspended family roller coaster that mimics the flight of a dragonfly as it races through the terrain on an unpredictable path! Another new ride in Wildwood Grove is the Mad Mockingbird, where you will experience the wonders of flight while riding in circles on your own colorful mockingbird! As if that doesn’t sound exciting enough, the Giant Tree Swing will take you on an adventure high through the skies while the TreeTop Tower provides a scenic overview of this new section of the park!

3. Admission Information

Wildwood Grove is included with your park admission and there are a variety of Dollywood ticket plans available. While you can purchase a one day ticket to the park, there is so much to see and do that you may want to spend at least two days at the park. This allows you to explore Wildwood Grove and the other fun sections at Dollywood at a more leisurely pace. You can also purchase 3 day tickets, as well as season passes that allow you to visit the park as much as you want throughout the entire season!
