Only a couple of minutes down the road from Cherokee Lodge Condos, guests can visit The Island in Pigeon Forge. There, they will find the Great Smoky Mountain Wheel, a wonderful place to see the fall colors while you’re on vacation. The modern-day ferris wheel has air conditioned gondolas and takes guests into the sky, so they can see the beauty of the Pigeon Forge Parkway in the fall.

When you ride the Great Smoky Mountain Wheel, the entire family will be able to sit together and experience the attraction as well as the great colors in the distance. After seeing the fall colors from the Great Smoky Mountain Wheel, you can take a walk around The Island, stop for lunch or dinner and enjoy the shopping. Also at The Island in Pigeon Forge, you will find the super popular Island Show Fountains that send water soaring into the air, synchronized to music.
