There are several places where you can grab a snack or a meal. You won’t run out of fun things to do, from escape games to an arcade. The Island is a great place for families, couples, and groups to spend some time!

2. Huck Finn’s Catfish Cabin

If you want to try true southern food, you should eat at Huck Finn’s Catfish Cabin. They serve fried and grilled catfish, fried and grilled chicken, and a few other seafood options for entrees. With every meal, you will get their bottomless vittles, which include baked white northern beans, hush puppies, french fries or mashed potatoes and gravy, coleslaw, onion slices, and pickles.

3. Old Mill Restaurant

The Old Mill in Pigeon ForgeThe Old Mill Restaurant is one of the places to visit in Pigeon Forge that’s just a short walk away from our condos! This place to eat specializes in southern dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. For breakfast, there are pancakes, eggs cooked to order, bacon, ham, grits, and more. You’ll find classics, such as fried chicken, meatloaf, chicken and dumplings, and fried catfish. There are also more unique dishes, such as spare ribs and sauerkraut, grilled shrimp, and stir fry vegetables. There’s a bakery on site that prepares fresh bread daily, and you can taste some of it at the restaurant.

4. Old Mill Pottery House Cafe and Grill

The Old Mill Pottery House Cafe and Grill is right across the street from the Old Mill Restaurant. The Grill serves southern dishes but with a cafe twist. You’ll find chicken gumbo served over cheesy grits, quiche and soup or salad options, and a fried green tomato BLT. The pimento cheese sandwich is a local favorite. You’ll want to save room for dessert when you visit the Pottery House Cafe. They have peanut butter pie, key lime pie, chocolate cake, and other delicious options.

Ride go karts around several different tracks, while small kids ride the train and other kiddie rides. Race around on the bumper cars and knock into each other, and then rack up points in the arcade so you can bring prizes back to your condo!

6. Dollywood

Another one of the top places to visit in Pigeon Forge that’s just a few minutes from our condos is Dollywood. This theme park is a short drive away but is filled with all kinds of fun things to do! Thrill seekers will love all of the roller coasters, while kids will want to spend most of their time in the Country Fair or Wildwood Springs. If you love music, you have to check out at least one of the many shows throughout the park. There are several places where you can get snacks or have an amazing southern meal. Dollywood is great for everyone!
