You can then experience what being on the ship was like when you walk on the $1 million replica of the Grand Staircase, shovel coal in the boiler room, and look at the different kinds of living quarters. There is also an extensive collection of Titanic artifacts. The other activities teach visitors about its famous sinking. For example, you can attempt to maintain your balance on a sloping deck. You can also feel the chill of 28℉ water on your skin. At the end of your visit, discover if the passenger on your boarding pass lived or died in the Memorial Room.

Explore the 6 Wonder Zones that have a total of more than 100 hands-on activities. In the Physical Challenge Zone, you can see how it feels to lay on a bed of 3500 nails. In the Space Discovery Zone, step into a life-size space suit and learn about everything that keeps astronauts safe. Additionally, experience some of their training by riding a gyroscope! Along with the Wonder Zones, the attraction also houses the world’s largest indoor ropes course. Sporting a groovy glow-in-the-dark theme, it is over 50 feet tall and contains 4 stories of ropes. See if you can conquer the various obstacles, some of which include swinging steps and a tremor bridge. WonderWorks also has a Laser Tag arena as well. You can compete against your travel group and see how long you can stay hidden in the backlit maze before getting hit.

3. Alcatraz East Crime Museum

Named after the once famous maximum security federal prison in San Francisco CA, the Alcatraz East Crime Museum in Pigeon Forge teaches visitors about the history of crime in the United States. The different exhibits have interactive activities. When you learn about the history of crime, you can practice your shooting skills as an outlaw in the Wild West and attempt to hack into a fictitious website. You then learn about the consequences of those crimes by having your mugshot taken and sitting in a jail cell. Along with their interactive activities, the museum has an Artifacts Center where you can see items from some of America’s most famous crimes, some of which include President Lincoln’s assassination.
