Does Dollywood have water rides? It sure does! If you are heading to Pigeon Forge this summer and have plans to visit Dollywood, take the opportunity to cool off from the heat on the park’s amazing selection of water rides! There is no need to wear a bathing suit on these rides as shirts and shoes are required, but you might have to dry off a bit in the sun once your ride is over! Here’s everything you need to know about the thrilling water rides at Dollywood:

Dollywood Water Rides

Daredevil Falls

Height Requirement: 42 inches

Explore an abandoned logging camp in the Craftsman’s Valley area of Dollywood as you set off on a challenging expedition on Daredevil Falls, a unique boat ride that ends with a 60-foot drop! If you feel like a daredevil, step into your boat to navigate through abandoned lumber machinery, but watch out for some close calls with local bears! Once you have made it through that experience, prepare for the final drop over the waterfall at speeds reaching 50 miles per hour. The ride ends with a fantastic splash finale that is sure to soak everyone on board!

Smoky Mountain River Rampage

Height Requirement: 36 inches

If you have wanted to experience the excitement of whitewater rafting in the Great Smoky Mountains, then take a ride along the park’s Smoky Mountain River Rampage! Step into a circular raft that slowly spins as it floats down a river full of exciting dips, twists, and turns. You never know who might get soaked on the boat, as no two rides are ever the same! Brave the rapids and cool off on one of the best water rides at Dollywood!

Wildwood Creek

There’s a scenic waterfall, footbridges, shallow areas to skip rocks, seating areas, and more. Read about some of the other top Dollywood rides for toddlers!

More Summer Fun at Splash Country

Since the theme park is most popular for its thrilling roller coasters, Dollywood created an entirely separate waterpark next door with some of the best slides and water rides in the country! Some of the best attractions at Dollywood’s Splash Country include Big Bear Plunge, Fire Tower Falls, RiverRush, and TailSpin Racer.
