One of the most spectacular sights in the Smokies can be found by taking a ride on the Pigeon Forge Trolley Tour of Lights. For $5 per person, you can park you car at the Patriot Park trolley station and ride through the holiday lights.

There are trolleys specially set up for the tour of lights, with extra special decorations and very warm heat blasting through the trolley to keep you very warm throughout the entire ride.We recommend bundling up because it is cold outside, should you have to wait for the trolley.

The trolley tour is a great way to see all of the light displays while learning a little bit abe ae’s history and the history of some of the oldest lights in Pigeon Forge.

The Great Smoky Mountain Wheel

Reaching a height of 200 feet in the air, the Great Smoky Mountain Wheel is the focus point at The Island in Pigeon Forge. At the Great Smoky Mountain Wheel, you can experience a view like no other in the area—a view of the Parkway and all of the bright Pigeon Forge lights that will be shining.

If you are looking for a way to see the lights without getting out of your car, you can easily take a drive along the Pigeon Forge Parkway. You can’t miss all of the beautiful light displays, and you’ll be able to pull over into a parking lot, at any point, to take as many pictures as you want.

Walk the Parkway

Although the weather is getting colder, if you bundle up, talking a walk along the Pigeon Forge Parkway is a great way to spend an evening. You can explore all of the great attractions and see the lights up close! If you’re looking to take a family photo with the lights in the background, or a family photo next to one of the huge displays, talking a walk is the best way! When you get a little too cold, just stop in one of the shops to buy a few souvenirs or visit a local restaurant where you can warm up and enjoy a little bit of some classic Southern flavors.
