Less than a mile in the other direction is Old Mill Square, a tribute to the spirit and heritage of the mountains. With two on-site restaurants and seven stores, guests can explore an old-fashioned general store, creamery and jewelry store in one area.

Another place Cherokee Lodge guests can enjoy is Patriot Park and Fantasy Golf. Patriot Park has a half mile walking trail and is home to many holiday events including Winterfest and July 4th fireworks. Fantasy Golf is just down a few minutes away from Patriot Park and offers two courses in the complex.

Not only can guests walk to attractions, Cherokee Lodge guests are also nearby public transportation. Just yards from our complex is the Fun Time Trolley Station. For less than $3 a day or $0.50 per ride, Smoky Mountain visitors can explore the area without worrying about parking or traffic.

Running every 15 to 30 minutes, the five routes can take visitors anywhere in the Smokies. From Dollywood to the entrance of Gatlinburg, the Fun Time Trolley runs from 8:00am to midnight March through October.
